I am happy to accept commissions of all animals. With every commission, I will share the proceeds with a rescue centre. As Stichting Opvang Konijnenparadijs is a sanctuary close to my heart, proceeds will automatically be shared with this rescue centre unless you request otherwise.

Process

With all pet portraits I work solely from photographs. I am happy to use your images but unfortunately I can’t accept low resolution, badly lit, under/over-exposed images. I need a clear photograph to work from in order to do a portrait. I understand this may not always be possible (particularly if it is a memorial portrait) so please contact me with the image beforehand so we can discuss whether or not it is possible to use your photograph.
Completion times
Due to the size, medium and depending on my workload, completion can be as quick as a week for a pastel portrait and around 6 months for an oil painting. Please note that this is a rough timescale. When making an enquiry I will be able to give you an approximate estimate of when your portrait will be ready and a more accurate date for despatch will be given upon receipt of your deposit.
Framing and delivery
Framing is included in the price of all graphite and pastel portraits. I prefer to hand deliver your portrait to you, although this isn’t always possible and in cases where a delivery service is then used, all portraits will be delivered securely wrapped in reinforced packaging, fully insured and tracked.

Prices

The prices vary considerably depending on the size and medium. Prices start at €185* for a pet pastel portrait, 150mm x 150mm including frame (exclusive of delivery charges) and includes a substantial donation to a rescue centre.
For larger pet portraits, graphite or oil on canvas, please feel free to contact me for a quote. For all commission enquiries please contact blackberrysfriends@gmail.com
