Beautiful tigress Samba, along with tigress Kenya, were rescued by FOUR PAWS from Circus Aleš - the last Czech circus with performing tigers. On 14th January 2025 Samba and Kenya began their 14 hour journey from Slovakia to the Netherlands, along with the veterinarian and staff from FOUR PAWS, ensuring the animals' health was monitored throughout the journey. Both Samba and Kenya arrived safely at FELIDA Big Cat Sanctuary and are now in a safe and loving environment, where they can recover and express their natural behaviour, away from the stresses of circus life.
