Sandy

"Sandy was the sweetest boy. He had such a calm temperament and always knew if you were having a tough day and needed some love. He loved visiting the seaside and running on our local common. But never was far from our side. The best friend you could possibly have ever." (Lucy, 2025)
Sandy was my cousin's precious companion, adopted from Finding Furever Homes many years ago. He instantly became a very important family member on entering their home (I immediately fell in love with him when I first met him, such a sweet, gentle soul). Sadly he passed away in early 2025. In honour of his memory, his portrait was painted to raise funds for for Broken Biscuits*, Lincoln, UK - a fantastic charity for disabled dogs.
*Finding Furever Homes are not currently rehoming dogs. They requested funds be forwarded to Broken Biscuits, with whom they have worked closely, helping some of their rescue dogs. For more information on this organisation please visit www.brokenbiscuits.org
